How a Commission Comes Together

Four steps. Two to three weeks. One piece built entirely for you.

01 — The Conversation

Fill out the form below and tell me what you have in mind. Sketches, inspiration photos, rough ideas — all welcome. The more you share, the better the outcome.

02 — Design & Quote

Within 48 hours, you'll receive a design direction, recommended leather and hardware pairings, and a full quote. We refine until it's right.

03 — The Build

Once you approve the design and submit your 50% deposit, work begins. Most commissions are completed within 2–3 weeks. Complex pieces may take longer.

04 — Delivery

Your commission arrives wrapped, boxed, and ready to be used for the next twenty years. Tracking and care instructions included.

Custom work is where I do my best thinking. Every commission starts as a conversation — about what you carry, how you carry it, and what you want something to feel like twenty years from now.

I hand-cut, hand-stitch, and hand-finish every piece in my Waller, Texas workshop, using only full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather. Because I build everything myself, I take on a limited number of commissions each month. This page is how you get on the list.

Yes. During the design phase, I'll walk you through the options that fit your project and let you guide the final choices. Full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather is standard.

Yes. I ship nationwide, and I can quote international shipping on request.

It depends on the month. Once you submit your inquiry, I'll let you know my current availability. Holiday commissions (November–December) book up early — inquire by early October for Christmas delivery.

Occasionally, yes. Rush orders carry a small premium and depend on my current schedule. Mention your timeline in the form and I'll let you know what's possible.
